<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of attracting and inviting a player's interest. <P>SOLUTION: In a game state of general mode, a 'big hit' is generated at a generation probability of 10/3000, and a game state of time reducing and probability changing mode is generated at a generation probability of 4/9 (S21-S24). When this game state of time reducing and probability changing mode is generated (S24: YES), one 'acquisition frequency' is randomly selected from 6 acquisition frequencies ('0' to 'five') in a normal time acquisition frequency table 71 and stored as the count value of a frequency counter 463K, and also set in the game state of time reducing and probability changing mode (S25-S27).
