METHOD FOR EXAMINING CAVITY OF RESIN MOLDED PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an examination method by which cavities present in a resin molded product can be reliably and efficiently distinguished.

SOLUTION: Data on a position and a density gradation are determined from a silhouette image of a resin molded product, then the position data are converted so that the cavity becomes circular, and a density gradient vector is sought based on the density data. Further, the density data are amplified in accordance with their degree of concentration, in the gradient vector direction and thus the difference in density between a cavity part and its periphery is weighted to distinguish the cavities.
