PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a built-up structure that has a high joining strength without requiring riveting. SOLUTION: A moving blade 1 of an aircraft is composed of a box-like body 2 and an outer skin 3. The body 2 is made up of integrally stiffened members, where a base plate 4, a front end 7, a wing tip 5 and ribs 8 are integrally formed. On the upper side of the body 2, there are installed thin plate like connecting parts 8, 9, 10 in which a plurality of through holes 11 are formed. The outer skin 3 and the body 2 are joined by allowing studs 13 to be friction-stir-welded inside the through holes 12 of the outer skin and those 11 of the body 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
