PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To purchase a desired commodity from an automatic vending machine by using the function of a portable terminal even if a purchaser does not have coins or even if he or she does not have money at all. SOLUTION: The display 31 of the portable communication terminal 30 is set to be in an automatic vending machine mode. A number applied to the commodity to be purchased and the number of the commodities are inputted on a display 31. The registered number and the password of the portable communication terminal 30 are transmitted to a company entering portable communication terminal 40. Inputted data are directly transmitted to the automatic vending machine 32 by the remote operation signal emitting circuit 36 of the portable communication terminal 30. Data are transmitted to the company entering portable communication terminal 40 with the code number of the automatic vending machine 32. When the purchaser is appropriate, the number applied to the commodity on the display 31 of the portable communication terminal 30 is inverted into a commodity name. The commodity and the number of the commodities are decided. The commodity is purchased from the automatic vending machine 32 and data on a purchased amount are transmitted to the company entering portable communication terminal 40.
