Adhesive composition and process to prepare it

Pressure-sensitive adhesive material based on radiation-crosslinkable styrene/diene block copolymer and tackifier resin also contains a block copolymer with elastomer blocks and more than 20% polyvinylaromatic blocks. Pressure-sensitive adhesive materials (I) comprising a mixture containing (a) a styrene block copolymer with more than 30% 1,2-linked diene in the elastomer block, or with a star-shaped structure and a mol. wt. (Mw) of more than 300000, which can be crosslinked in the elastomer block by UV light or electron beam radiation, (b) block copolymer(s) with elastomer blocks and more than 20% polyvinylaromatic blocks, and (c) tackifier resin(s). Independent claims are also included for (1) Adhesive film strips containing (I) which are sticky on at least one side (2) a method for the production of (I) for adhesive film strips to make joints which can be stripped by pulling in the plane of the joint, which involves additional crosslinking of the polymers in the elastomer blocks of mixture(I).
