摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for concentrating<SP>18</SP>O, which is excellent in selectivity. SOLUTION: Laser having a peak wave number (ν<SB>x</SB>) in a range given by following formula:ν<SB>1</SB>-80≤ν<SB>x</SB>≤ν<SB>2</SB>-35 (wherein,ν<SB>1</SB>shows the wave number (cm<SP>-1</SP>) of the absorption peak of C-<SP>18</SP>O-C bond in a saturated aliphatic ether;ν<SB>2</SB>shows the wave number (cm<SP>-1</SP>) of the absorption peak of C<SP>-16</SP>O-C bond in the saturated aliphatic ether; andν<SB>x</SB>shows wave the number (cm<SP>-1</SP>) of the laser) is used as a laser when the saturated aliphatic ether is irradiated with a single laser or as an excitation laser when the ether is irradiated with a combination of the excitation laser and decomposition laser.
