PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat height adjusting spacer in which existent lavatory bowl and toilet seat are diverted to make high the dimension of the upper face of the toilet seat from the surface of the floor and the fixing strength of the toilet seat can be reinforced with respect to a lateral load to be operated upon the toilet seat. SOLUTION: A toilet seat height adjusting spacer 1 is provided with an annular spacer 2 approximately in the form of ellipse for prescribed thickness, an annular space fixing means 3 for fixing the annular spacer 2 on a lavatory bowl 100, a lateral shift suppressing means 4 for suppressing mispositioning of the annular spacer 2 with respect to the lavatory bowl 100, a toilet seat fixing means 5 for fixing a toilet seat 200 on the annular spacer 2, and a reinforcing means 6 for reinforcing the fixing strength of the toilet seat 200 with respect to the lateral load to be operated upon the toilet seat 200.
