PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buff roll type polishing device capable of easily performing attitude adjustment of a buff roller with high precision and performing dressing for a buff roll in parallel with a rotary shaft with high precision without causing a difference in steps and recessed and projecting parts on its surface. SOLUTION: This buff roll type polishing device is provided with a main body part 62 having a reference rail 64 extended in the direction parallel with a buff roller 11 at a higher position than a set roller composed of the buff roller 11 and a back-up roller 17, a tool slider 67 moving on the reference rail, and a ball screw 65 for feeding it and an adjustment reference mechanism composed of a measurement tool 81 and a dressing tool 94 mounted detachably in tool mounting parts 69, 69' of the tool slider 67. A dial gage 92 of the measurement tool 81 is put on the rotary shaft 13 to run in order to adjust attitude of a shaft while observing inclination. A grinding wheel of the dressing tool 94 is applied to the buff roll 12 to run in order to perform dressing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
