<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a very convenient movable part stop detection device capable of securely detecting the stop of an operation part even if inertia force differs. <P>SOLUTION: This movable part stop detection device is provided with a light emitting element 2, a light receiving element 3, and a stop detection means 4. When light LE is projected on surfaces of operation parts MR, MS of a machine tool and a grinding machine from the light emitting element 2, reflected light LR reflected from the surfaces of the operation parts MR, MS is received by the light receiving element 3, and image data DG is outputted, the stop detection means 4 stores the image data DG outputted from the light receiving element 3 and compares the image data stored this time with image data stored quite recently. If both image data coincide, the stop detection means 4 discriminates that the movable parts MR, MS stop and outputs a stop signal ST. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
