PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing color tone change quantity calculator which can capture a color tone change coincident with a human sensation.

SOLUTION: The printing color tone change quantity calculator comprises an imaging means for imaging a printed matter as a calculating reference of a color tone change quantity to generate a reference image 10, and imaging the pattern 100 to be compared with a display color value to generate a compared image 20; an integrating means for integrating in predetermined corresponding regions of the image 10 and the image 20 to generate the reference displayed color value and the compared display color value, and a comparing means for comparing the color value with the reference display color value to calculate the color tone change quantity based on the compared display color value.
