PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform highly accurate printing by also taking account of a distance from a nozzle to a body to be printed at the time of calculating the positional shift of shooting based on the moving speed of the nozzle. SOLUTION: In the printer for printing on a body to be printed by ejecting ink intermittently thereto from a moving ink ejecting part, distance from the ink ejecting part to the body to be printed is detected and the timing of intermittent ejection of ink from the ink ejecting part is controlled based on the detected distance.
