PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a fiber reinforced resin molded object improved in appearance, and the fiber reinforced resin molded object improved in appearance manufactured by the method. SOLUTION: The fiber reinforced resin molded object is manufactured by molding a molded object comprising an olefinic resin containing 5-70 wt.% of reinforcing fibers and treating the surface of the molded object with flame. Further, the fiber reinforced resin molded object is manufactured by manufacturing the molded object comprising the olefinic resin containing 5-70 wt.% of reinforcing fibers to treat the surface of the molded object with flame, and by coating the flame treated part.
