PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine by which a molded article with a thin thickness or the like can be molded even when a screw is operated at a relatively low speed. SOLUTION: A heated cylinder device 2 provided with a nozzle on its apex part, a screw 6 being freely movably stored in this heated cylinder device 2, a hydraulic cylinder 11 for driving forward and backward this screw 6 and pressing it, a sensor 19 for detecting a position of the screw 6, and a controlling device 18, are provided. The position of the screw 6 advanced to the most advanced position is obtained by the sensor 19 and the controlling device 18 controls the hydraulic cylinder 11 so that the screw 6 is positioned at the most advanced position during dwelling. By suppressing a back flow force of a gas in a cavity 28, consequently, by suppressing the back flow force of a molten resin injected in the cavity 28, it is possible to well vent the gas and to mold even the molded article with a thin thickness or the like.
