APPARATUS FOR FILTERING COATING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To filter a coating material at a low cost at a high speed and remove minute impurities from the coating material. SOLUTION: This coating material filtering apparatus 7 is used in a circulation type coating apparatus 1 for returning a surplus portion of the water-soluble coating material after sprayed toward the object 2 to be coated to a coating material tank 4 and reusing it. The apparatus 7 is constituted by arranging a filtering part 11 formed by placing cotton 9 on a net 8 at a vertical outflow port 12 on the way that the surplus coating material is returned to the tank 4.
