PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a massager capable of giving a person an intensive massage if necessary without damaging a use feeling. SOLUTION: The massager is constituted by providing air bags 21-23 expanded and contracted by the supply and discharge of air to a chair body (massager body). Cylindrical board setting parts 25-27 are provided to the back surface of the backrest 4 of the chair main body. Support board 28-30 for individually suppressing the expansion of the air bags 21-23 toward the back sides thereof are taken in and out of the setting parts 25-27. By housing the support boards 28-30 in the board setting parts 25-27, the escape of the expanded air bags 21-23 to the back sides thereof is suppressed and, by detaching the support boards 28-30 from the board setting parts 25-27, the cushioning properties of the backrest are ensured.
