PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dish washer which uses less water than a conventional dish washer using electrolytic water. SOLUTION: A washing chamber 3 for housing dishes to be washed, a washing nozzle 6 for jetting washing water and a rinsing nozzle 7 jetting rinsing water are provided at the upper part of the dish washer. The lower part of the dish washer 1 comprises: an electrolytic water supplying apparatus for generating alkaline water and acidic water; a washing tank 8 for reserving washing water; a washing water supplying piping 16 for connecting this washing tank 8 with the washing nozzle 6; a non-electrolytic water rinsing tank 10A for reserving non-electrolytic water at a high temperature; an alkaline water rinsing tank 10B for reserving alkaline water at a high temperature; and a rinsing water supplying piping 17 to be connected with these rinsing tanks 10A and 10B. An adjusting means for adjusting the alkaline water and the non-electrolytic water is provided in the piping 17. In the case of rinsing the dishes to be washed, rinsing of the dishes with the alkaline water and that with the non-electrolytic water are performed by the adjusting means. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
