PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sharp rise in temperature inside a refrigerating chamber when opening a door of a household refrigerator while rapidly cooling the interior of the refrigerating chamber to a prescribed temperature after closing the door. SOLUTION: This household refrigerator is provided with an opening/closing means for closing a blowoff port 6 of a cold air passage 5 downstream of a blower 4 when the door 10 is turned to open.
