PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an appropriate drive circuit for a drive circuit integrated liquid crystal display device having an increased screen size. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal display panel and the drive circuit for supplying an image signal to a video signal line formed in the liquid crystal display panel. The drive circuit comprises a first drive circuit formed through a similar process as a process for a pixel formed in the liquid crystal display panel, and a second drive circuit connected to the liquid crystal display panel after forming the liquid crystal display panel. The first drive circuit comprises a switching circuit for distributing the output of the second drive circuit to a plurality of video signal lines. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
