PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently selecting a substance used to prevent, reduce or remove a bad effect generated when an oxidation stress is applied to a specific in vivo tissue. SOLUTION: In a screening method for a regulating substance of an in vivo oxidation stress, the oxidizability of various tissues sampled from an experimental animal orally dosed with a specimen is measured so as to be compared with the oxidizability of various tissues of a reference animal not dosed with the specimen, and the specimen is screened.
