PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire insertion load measuring instrument that can measure the load received by a tire when the tire is inserted to a wheel with high accuracy. SOLUTION: Reinforcing plates 14, 15, and 16 are respectively attached to an inner upper wheel 11, an outer upper wheel 12, and a lower wheel 13 which are obtained by cutting a wheel 4 into upper and lower portions along a cutting plane (a) and, at the same time, into annular portions along another cutting plane (b). In addition, gaps 17 and 18 are formed among the inner upper wheel 11, outer upper wheel 12, and lower wheel 13 and load cells 21 are respectively attached to the spaces among the reinforcing plates 14, 15, and 16.
