PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition plug mounting structure wherein a brass tube installed at an ignition plug case is prevented from turning together when the plug is to be mounted or removed, and accordingly the risk of slackening of seal surfaces and occurrence of a leakage is eliminated. SOLUTION: Ignition plug mounting threads 4A are formed in a cylinder head 4, and the ignition plug 2 is screwed fast into the threads 4A, and the brass tube 3 interposed between the inside surface of the plug case 1 and the outside surface of the plug 2 is pinched by the plug 2 and the cylinder head 4 and secured.
