PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bracket cap which contributes to improvement of crime prevention while maintaining the beautiful appearance of a window lattice, and secures a space for exchanging the planar lattice if necessary. SOLUTION: The bracket cap 5a for covering part or the entire body of a bracket 1 which is for use in mounting the planar lattice 2 on a wall surface 6, is employed for covering at least a screw 4 invisible from the outside. To fix the bracket cap 5a to the bracket 1, the bracket cap 5a has a plurality of engaging portions 7 (7a to 7e) for engaging the bracket cap 5a with the bracket 1. Herein, the engaging portions 7 (7a to 7e) are arranged so as to be opposed to each other in upper and lower directions and lateral directions in Fig. 2, as well as in a direction perpendicular to the paper surface showing the figure.
