PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To open an engine hood as quiet as possible in opening the same that swings downward around an axis in a longitudinal direction of a machine body. SOLUTION: The engine hood 9 is provided with an engine hood body 9a and a side wall 30 connecting to one end side of the engine hood body 9a. The side wall 30 is made of resin and formed in a hollow structure. A projection part 69 is formed on a lower end part of the side wall 30 as one body. The projection part 69 gets into contact with a stopper to establish a lowering limit of the engine hood 9 when the engine hood 9 is opened. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
