PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polypeptides of human tumor necrosis factor (TNF) δand TNF ε, polynucleotides encoding the polypeptides and a method for producing the polypeptides.

SOLUTION: Disclosed is an isolated polynucleotide including a polynucleotide having at least 70% identity to a member selected from the following groups: (a) a polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide including an amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO.2 (refer to the specification); (b) a polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide including an amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO.4 (refer to the specification); (c) a polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide including the amino acid numbers 39 to 233 of the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO.2 (refer to the specification); (d) a polynucleotide complementary to the polynucleotides of (a), (b) or (c); and (e) a polynucleotide including at least 15 bases of the polynucleotides of (a), (b), (c) or (d).
