PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the operation time per food and ensure the safety in the input of the next food by forming a food receiving box fixed to a machine body larger than a conventional food receiving box and, consequently, to enable the continuous operation of a food slicer by additionally providing equipment capable of continuously putting foods. SOLUTION: To the food receiving box 40 fixed to the machine base 10 of this food slicer, a round knife 50 having a vertical cutting surface is horizontally reciprocated, and a knife driving member 54 for driving the round knife 50 is arranged above the round knife 50.
