PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance device having a damping function capable of suppressing resonance vibration by vibration of an end effector and a conveyance arm when conveying and vibration from a drive system to improve conveyance speed, shorten tact time, and reduce a clearance to reduce height of a unit. SOLUTION: A damping means is constituted by sealing a weight composed of solid, liquid or a mixture of them as a vibration body. Specific gravity of the weight is changed in accordance with an appearance situation of vibration and resonance of the articulated conveyance device having arms 21, 22 and the end effector 10. These damping means 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e making natural frequency proper are attached to end parts A, B, C, D, E of the end effector and each arm which are places where amplitude is large. Vibration energy of the conveyance device is absorbed by vibration movement of the weight of the damping means to suppress vibration. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
