ORGANIC EL HEAD, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL head of which the use efficiency of a light is improved by a method wherein a spot having a predetermined size is imaged on an image carrier body even in a simplified structure without using a lens when a fine light resonance structure is adopted thereto.

SOLUTION: A reflection layer 2 consisting of dielectric multiple-layer film is formed on a substrate 1 and an anode 3 is formed on the reflection layer 2. An organic EL (a positive hole transporting layer 4, a light emitting layer 5) is formed on the anode 3 by an inkjet method. A cathode 6 is formed on the organic EL by a deposition method. A collimator 12 is formed on the substrate 1 at the opposite side of the reflection layer 2 and a shape of a spot on the image carrier body 8 is adjusted.
