METHOD AND DEVICE FOR RECONSTRUCTING THREE-DIMENSIONAL IMAGE FROM CONE BEAM PROJECTION DATA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality image by continuing projection data over a detector sensitive face, in a method for reconstructing a three-dimensional image from the cone beam projection data of a target to be inspected which is disposed in an inspection zone. SOLUTION: This method includes a stage for capturing the cone beam projection data by an X-ray device including an X-ray detector and an X-ray source moved along a track around the inspection zone to capture the projection data; a stage for deciding an outline of the detector sensitive face of the X-ray detector wherein the projection data are captured; a stage for deciding pseud projection data in the whole outside zone annularly surrounding the detector sensitive face from the decided projection data; and a stage for reconstructing the three-dimensional image of the inspection zone from both the pseud projection data decided in the outside zone and the projection data captured on the detector sensitive face.
