PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-shrinkable polyester film used for a full label of a bottle, especially adapted to a PET bottle or a glass bottle which generates extremely scarce wrinkles, shrink irregulality and strain due to shrinkage. SOLUTION: The heat-shrinkable polyester film consists of a polyester resin a 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol component of which is not less than 15 mol % with respect to 100 mol % of a polyhydric alcohol component in all of polyester resin components. The hot water shrinkage factor of this film in a main shrink direction is 5-60% under a 70°C/5 sec treatment condition and 75% or more under a 85°C/5 sec treatment condition and the hot water shrinkage factor of this film in the direction orthogonal to the main shrink direction is not more than 10% under a 85°C/5 sec treatment condition.
