PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder in which a stirring action for a settling pigment or the like and a printing action to a recording paper are distinguished from each other, and stable discharge of ink drops is obtained without unnecessary vibrations transmitted to a recording head during printing. SOLUTION: Stirring moving bodies 80 in a state in which the bodies are movable are set in ink chambers 11, 16, 17 and 23 of an ink cartridge 1. The stirring moving bodies 80 are constituted to stir and move in the ink chambers when the stirring action is applied to the ink cartridge 1 and to stop at predetermined points in the ink chambers when the ink cartridge 1 carries out the printing action. The stirring action for the settling pigment or the like and the printing action to the recording paper are distinguished from each other, and unnecessary vibrations are prevented from being transmitted to the recording head 73 during printing, so that the stable discharge of ink drops is obtained.
