PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a family altar which does not require moving instruments existing on shelf boards each time like heretofore by providing the family altar with a shelf board for stands for floral, etc., drawable out cooperatively in drawing a sutra desk out of the interior of a family altar body and further attaching an auxiliary shelf board to this shelf board. SOLUTION: The family altar provided with the sutra desk drawable out forward in a sutra desk housing section below the family altar body is provided with the shelf board drawable out cooperatively with the drawing out of the sutra desk and is mounted with the auxiliary shelf board at the shelf board.
