Here is disclosed a lid (1) that can be heat-sealed to an opening of a package (2) and peeled off as the package is opened, comprising a fibrous material layer, a polymer oxygen-barrier layer and a polymer heat-seal layer, characterized in that the heat-seal layer comprises ethylene methyl acrylate copolymer (EMA) ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) and polyamide wax, and in that the heat-seal layer is adhered directly to the oxygen-barrier layer having a higher melting point without any intermediate binder.
