The invention relates to a method for joining shaped parts (1, 2) using thermocurable adhesives (6) by irradiating electromagnetic radiation into the adhesive joint. The adhesive joint is such that the substrate of at least one shaped part to be joined is transparent to electromagnetic radiation in the area of the adhesive joint. This adhering method is particularly suited for producing vehicle lamps or vehicle headlights, in which the covering pane, light pane or diffusing pane is made of glass or of a transparent plastic in the area of joining whereby enabling high-energy infrared radiation to the irradiated into the volume of adhesive of the adhesive joint. A suitable adhesive is, in particular, a thermocurable adhesive based on a non-aqueous dispersion containing at least one polyisocyanate, which is deactivated only on the surface, and containing at least one polymer that reacts with isocyanate. |
