DEVICE FOR MEDIATING FILE USING SINGLE PORT DIGITAL INTERFACE

PURPOSE: A device for mediating a file using a single port digital interface is provided to duplicate a file between a source storage unit and a plurality of target storage units without a computer system. CONSTITUTION: A source storage unit(140) connects to a file mediating unit(100) by using a USB host(130) and a USB device(160). A user selects a file to be duplicated. Data of the selected file is uploaded to a system memory(120) of the file mediating unit from a flash memory(150) of the source storage unit through the USB host and the USB device. The source storage unit is separated from the file mediating unit. The file mediating unit connects to a target storage unit(170) through the USB host and another USB device(190). The uploaded file data is downloaded to a flash memory(180) of the target storage unit.
