PURPOSE: A method for correcting an offset of a digital/analog converter is provided to reduce the unit cost of a chip by changing only a digital coding circuit to average and minimize an offset. CONSTITUTION: In a normal state, the first to the sixth 6-channel digital/analog converters(21a-21f) are sequentially connected to output terminals of the first to the sixth buffers(22a-22f) in order to detect line errors of the first to the sixth 6-channel digital/analog converters(21a-21f) from dots on an LCD panel. An output terminal of the 6 channel digital/analog converter corresponding having the line errors is connected to an input terminal of the first buffer(22a) in order to average an offset. The averaging process of the offset includes a process for switching the input terminal of the first buffer(22a) connected to the 6 channel digital/analog converter corresponding having the line errors and a process for connecting the second buffer(22b) to the 6 channel digital/analog converter corresponding having the line errors in order to average the dots driven by the first buffer(22a).
