摘要 PURPOSE:To increase the operability of a vehicle with transmission in congestion traveling. CONSTITUTION:A final target transmission gear ratio TR is determined according to a vehicle speed VSP and throttle valve opening(TVO) (S31 to S33). By comparing a current set transmission ratio NR with the final target transmission ratio TR, the set transmission ratio NR is increased or decreased by a specified amount of increase or decrease DELTAR for each time in the direction that it is moved near the final target transmission ratio TR for setting (S34 to S40).When congestion traveling is recognized, the amount of increase or decrease DELTAR is reduced more than a regular value in order to reduce the transmission change speed only in shift down direction (S37, S39). Then the transmission gear ratio is feedback-controlled based on the set transmission gear ratio NR.
