PURPOSE: A method for switching a transmission unit in a wireless transmission system is provided to monitor an error operation of a power amplifier and a PLDRO(Phase Locked Dielectric Resonator Oscillator) and smoothly control a configuration switching function for a normal operation of the transmission unit by composing a transmission switching monitoring/controlling unit. CONSTITUTION: In case that an IF(Intermediate Frequency) input level of a power amplifier(210) does not exist, a PLDRO(220) is not locked, an output level of the PLDRO(220) is less than a reference value, or a modulator(240), a line monitor(250), and a transmission unit(260) are artificially dismounted, a transmission switching monitoring/controlling unit(203) turns off a bias of a power amplifier(210), grasps abnormality, and performs a switching operation to a good transmitter. The transmission switching monitoring/controlling unit(203) monitors RFMD(RF(Radio Frequency) Monitoring Data) multiplexed in a multiplexer(202) of an FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array) always. In case that an output level value of the power amplifier(210) is over a set output range or a phase control voltage of the PLDRO(220) is over a lock range, the transmission switching monitoring/controlling unit(203) generates an alarm, and turns off the bias of the power amplifier(210). The transmission switching monitoring/controlling unit(203) prevents that an outputted RF low signal is converted into an RF high signal, and performs a transmission switching, using a switching function.
