PURPOSE: A rear cross member for a vehicle is provided to minimize the installation space of the cross member by forming a curved guide part in the center of the rear cross member, to install the rear cross member in the rear floor conveniently, and to increase variation by reducing the distance between the center of the rear tire and the end of the rear bumper with varying the size of the rear floor. CONSTITUTION: A rear floor supports a vehicle room, and comprises a fuel tank installation part and a rear bumper installation part. A spare tire storage part is formed in the rear bumper installation part to store and carry a spare tire. A welding portion(21) is bent upward, and contacted to the lower part of the rear floor. A guide part(23) is curved in the center of a cross member(20), and contacted to the side wall of the spare tire storage part. The cross member is installed by surrounding the spare tire storage part through the guide part after contacting to the lower part of the rear floor through the welding portions.
