PURPOSE: A device for preventing the mis-opening of a cap of an electric rice cooker is provided to prevent the rotation of a locking ring in the opening direction of a cap when the pressure of an inner pot is higher than the atmospheric pressure. CONSTITUTION: A rotation-preventing unit to prevent the rotation of a locking ring(240) in the opening direction of a cap when the internal pressure of an inner pot(110) is higher than the atmospheric pressure is prepared on an edge portion of the inner pot. The rotation-preventing unit is formed by forming a rotation-preventing protrusion(245a) on the upper face of a locking piece(245) of the locking ring and forming an insertion recess(115a) on the bottom face of a flange portion(115) of the inner pot.
