<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for decomposing an organic halogen compound suppressing the corrosion of a reaction tube and improving the performance by rapidly cooling to a dew point temperature or higher. SOLUTION: In this apparatus for decomposing an organic halogen compound provided with a reaction tube 1 decomposing an organic halogen compound, an exhaust gas treating tank 41 stored with an alkali solution neutralizing decomposed material decomposed in the reaction tube 15 and a blowing tube 45 arranged in a state in which the opened lower end part is dipped into the alkali solution and blowing the above decomposed material from the reaction tube 15 into the alkali solution, a cooling chamber 70 is formed on the circumference of the reaction tube 15, air is circulated into the cooling chamber 70, and cooling is performed to a dew point temperature or higher.</p> |
