PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of water treatment and an apparatus therefor, in which the membrane-filter treatment secures a stable quantity of treated water and in which the ozone treatment exerts such a full effect that the injection ratio of ozone can be decreased and the generation of by-products can be inhibited. SOLUTION: In this method of water treatment using ozone-oxidation, an ozone resolution tank 10 and an ozone injection device 2 are installed at the previous stage of a membrane-filter 6, and the amount of ozone supplied to the ozone resolution tank 10 is so controlled, based on the measurement value of the concentration of the residual ozone in the water filtered by the membrane-filter 6, that the concentration of the residual ozone in the water filtered by the membrane-filter 6 can be kept within a specified range. Thus the minimum required amount of ozone is supplied at the previous stage of the membrane-filter 6 by observation of the concentration of the residual ozone in the water after filtration and the filtered water is obtained without increasing the resistance to water passing through the membrane-filter 6, and the generation of by-products of ozone is inhibited. |
