FIELD: manufacture of intricate-profile articles from conducting materials, particularly, cylindrical involute nonreversing gear wheels with external ring gears. SUBSTANCE: for shaping of auxiliary side surfaces of teeth, preset in control program of NC electroerosion machine is trajectory of coordinate motions of wire-electrode tool from one control point at tooth root to another control point at tooth point. In this case, involute profile of auxiliary side surface is approximated by length of straight line running through points of beginning and end of its shaping. Number of these points is preset minimum permissible and is taken equal to 2 irrespective of gear wheel geometry. EFFECT: higher productivity and reduced costs of machining of nonreversing low-duty involute gear wheels. 4 dwg |
