FIELD: watch-making industry. SUBSTANCE: technical result of invention consists in provision for watch reading under inadequate lighting, by elderly and people with weak eyesight without glasses under normal lighting. Device to read watch indications has hour, minute and second hands which contrastively distinguish against two-color field of dial and have different sizes and forms. Two-color field of dial comes in the form of four sectors of 30 degrees and four sectors of 60 degrees formed by four diameters passing through hour marks 1 and 7, 2 and 8, 4 and 10, 5 and 11. Adjacent sectors have different colors or half-tones. Minute hand can have asymmetrical shape in plan and hour hand can have symmetric shape. Geometric figures of black and white color can be deposited all over surface of hour and minute hands. EFFECT: improved efficiency of watch reading. 1 dwg
