<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original karaoke device provided with game functions in addition to the entertainment of karaoke. <P>SOLUTION: The karaoke device is provided with a storage means 5 for storing many pieces of music data, a performance means 8 for performing karaoke programs on the basis of the music data, a control means 7 for controlling the performance means 8, and a performance instruction means 10 for instructing the performance of a karaoke program to the control means 7. The control means 7 selects necessary music data from many pieces of music data stored in the storage means 5 on the basis of an instruction from the instruction means 10, and the performance means 8 performs the karaoke program on the basis of the selected music data.
