<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and inexpensive image forming apparatus in which paper is highly accurately carried without using a paper carrying belt, color slippage is reduced, and the reliability is high and the maintenance is easy. <P>SOLUTION: The outside diameter of a photoreceptor is set equal to or smaller that such a value that the stiffness energy of the paper is made larger than the sucking energy of the paper, so that the paper can naturally be separated and the apparatus can be miniaturized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
