PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain digital communication equipment which can communicate with opposite communication equipment by a contacting line even when the property is unstable in a regular line. SOLUTION: Other frames are added to the signal of the contacting line and the signal of the regular line for multiplexing in the case of transmission. In this case, transmission is performed by setting the synchronism holding strength of the frame in the contracting line to be larger than that of the frame in the regular line. In the case of reception, the synchronism holding strength in detecting the frame of the contracting line is set to be larger than that in detecting the frame of the regular line, so that each frame is detected.
