PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inductive thin-film magnetic head wherein fluctuation or noise is small in a reproducing output during reproduction. SOLUTION: The inductive thin-film magnetic head is constructed in such a manner that the tips of lower and upper magnetic cores have widths equal to a track width, and the rear ends of the lower and upper magnetic cores are larger in width than the tips in a track width direction.
