PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information transmission support system for preventing the personation of user's attributes and achieving smooth virtual communication during information transmission through a computer network, and a terminal, a server, and an information transmission support method suitable to the information transmission support system. SOLUTION: An attribute acquiring section 30 acquires attribute information about the user such as face image, sex and age from image data obtained through photographing the user by an optical sensor 20. An attribute selecting section 39 allows the user to select which acquired attribute information is to be disclosed.
