PURPOSE: Provided are a deodorant and an air-purification device and an apparatus and a process for production thereof to express improved deodorizing effect by treating Basidiomycota with specific light energy. CONSTITUTION: The deodorant contains fermentation product from Basidiomycota received infrared ray range of 1,200-1,250nm wave length. The apparatus(A) for radiating visible rays has a number of visible ray radiating components(1), another component(2) formed with a transfer passage(S1) for a subject to be radiated and mounted with the components(1). Another apparatus(B) for radiating infrared rays has a number of a first infrared ray radiating components(3) and a number of a second infrared ray radiating components(4), and another component(5) formed with a transfer passage(S2) for the subject to be radiated and mounted with the component(5).
