PURPOSE: A flat panel display is provided to allow a bottom chassis to house a backlight assembly so as to minimize manufacturing cost of the flat panel display. CONSTITUTION: A flat panel display includes a display(300) for receiving lights to display a predetermined image, a light guide(350) for guiding the lights to the display, and a luminance improving unit for improving luminance of the lights guided by the light guide. The flat panel display further includes a case and a fixing member. The frame has an accommodation space composed of a bottom face and four side walls to accommodate the light guide and luminance improving unit. The frame includes at least one support that is protruded from at least one of the four side walls to fix the accommodation position of the light guide. The fixing member is combined with the frame to fix the light guide and luminance improving unit. The flat panel display further includes at least one light generator for generating the lights. |
